How to add a camera – notes

When adding a camera to HiEasy, please pay attention to the following common issues:

  • Make sure you enter the correct Wi-Fi password when connecting the camera.
  • Check whether the device supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Devices that do not support this frequency cannot connect successfully and must use 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • If the device does not rotate or give voice prompts after being powered on, contact the seller’s customer service for repair.
  • If the router has a blacklist or whitelist enabled, reset the router or remove restrictions that block the camera.
  • If you are using a router integrated with an optical modem and the Wi-Fi has restrictions, you may need an additional secondary router.
  • If the device does not support 5G Wi-Fi but you selected a 5G network during setup, please select a 2.4G Wi-Fi instead.

If none of the above situations apply and you still cannot add the camera, please contact the seller’s customer service for further assistance.
